Like the hotel's exterior, the small rooms have been redecorated and are furnished to a high standard in light grey colours. The rooms on the upper floors offer great views of the city's pretty red tiled roof-tops and the surrounding countryside. Even the erfurt's small airport is visible in the distance on a clear day. Both the rooms and the very small bathrooms are in very good condition. The restaurant is located in the first floor. Huge windows and a pale colourscheme make for an airy, or even rather cold atmosphere, but some diners have good views of the surrounding historical buildings. It is a typical East German high rise building, built before the German reunification, but extensively modified. The lobby is very large with a tiled floor and a long black reception desk.
